Sometimes the most evident things are unfamiliar to us. Oftentimes, we need someone to tell us and help us realise. Most of the times though, our most precious gifts and talents are just right there, ready to be unleashed, only we didn’t know how, or that it even existed.
That’s exactly the objectives of the ITSM Management Communication Workshop as it starts off with an awareness of our own personality. Unsurprisingly we finished the workshop with more than just awareness of our personality, but rather a confidence beaming so bright that we felt like we can conquer the world, at least figuratively.
As key takeaways, the participants were able to learn the nuances and techniques in modern business presentation, absorbed a greater understanding of communicating effectively, and enhanced confidence in different modes of business correspondence, whether through written output and verbal skills.
To effectively maximise attendance of employees without disrupting services to our clients, the workshop was implemented in two back-to-back sessions, held at the ITSM Corp. Manila Office last April 4, 5, 10 and 11. Members from Service Support, Business Support, Service Delivery, Consulting Services, Sales, Internal IT, HR and Admin, and Finance, participated.
Ultimately, the workshop was intended to enhance the quality of service to clients by empowering our employees to be more confident, self-driven, and effective communicators of not only our services but as ambassadors of the company and our business model.
The workshop was conducted and facilitated by Shiela Viesca of TalkShop, who we had a lot of fun with as she challenged us to be more creative through simple frameworks and impromptu speeches.
